News

Here we will keep you updated with the latest news about the shop, the skate scene in Aylesbury, product releases, and skateboarding in general.

SICKNESS – Thrasher x Supreme Video

There is a reason this video has this particular title. The young blood from Supreme bring you some madness from San Francisco in this video collaboration with Thrasher shot by frequent Supreme collaborator and filmmaker William Strobeck. Featuring Tyshawn Jones, Kevin Bradley, Aidan Mackey, Sage Elsesser, Ben Kadow, Sean Pablo, Anthony Van Engelen and Bill Strobeck.

Aylesbury Skateboards has a nice range of Thrasher garms so you can show your support.

Vale Skatepark Progress

If you’ve been following us on Facebook, we’ve been keeping up to date with the latest news about the progress of the park. I went past today to have a look at how its coming along around 5 days before its supposed to be finished.

While I was there, they were hard at work making and smoothing out the box and it looks rad. The park as a whole is a HUGE improvement over the old metal ramps and tarmac that was there a few months ago. The ground looks like the perfect skating surface and will by far be the best park in the Aylesbury Area.

Unfortunately, I didn’t get to speak to any of the builders (they looked pretty busy) but as far as I know (and saw) it’s on track for being finished this weekend. Whether or not it is opening this weekend is another question but we can always pray.

Welcome!

Hello and welcome to the ASB blog! This blog has been started as a way to keep people informed about the latest skateboarding news, be it upcoming product releases or the latest about the skate scene in and around Aylesbury.

As many of you may know, the skatepark in Vale Park is currently being rebuilt into a beautiful concrete park which looks perfect. We’ve been posting updates on our Facebook and Instagram with images of the progress and have been chatting to a few of the builders trying to get a finish date. As it stands the proposed finish date is next weekend (Around the 4th July) but whether or not that means its opening then is another question. The builders are hesitant to give us exact date, presumably as they don’t actually know when its opening to the public.
